Ground based in situ observations of high_vol_sampler at Diabla Gora (PL0005R). These measurements are gathered as a part of the following projects EMEP and they are stored in the EBAS database (http://ebas.nilu.no/). NOx measurements were made, using a chemiluminescence analyser, between 2004 and 2005. This work was carried out at the Clean Air Sector Laboratory (CASLab) at Halley Station, Antarctica, as part of the Chemistry of the Antarctic Boundary Layer and the Interface with Snow (CHABLIS) project (2001-2006).

Abstract:
Weather data collected between 30th December 2004 and 20th February 2006 as part of the RABID project on Rutford Ice Stream, West Antarctica. Wind speed, wind direction, temperature, pressure, relative humidity, and solar radiation data were recorded using an ONSET HOBO AWS (Automatic Weather Station) data logger and sensors.
The RABID project employed hot-water drilling techniques, down-hole instrumentation, as well as surface geophysical measurements, to form an integrated programme studying ice dynamics, basal conditions, climate and glacial history.
Funding was provided by the UK NERC Antarctic Funding Initiative (AFI).
