Abstract:
The distribution and concentration of nutrients, including phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium and silicate, DO, and chlorophylla in Prydz Bay were investigated during CHINARE-9(the 9th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition).The results showed that the content of nutrients in austral summer was much higher in out of Prydz Bay than that in Prydz Bay. From the nutrients concentrations with the depth, we can see that the content in up layer was lower than that in bottom, and in 25-100m the content was highest,under 500m the content remain steady.
