The DPS-4, developed by the University of Masachusetts at Lowell Center for Atmospheric Research (ULCAR), is a pulse HF Doppler radar controlled by a computer. It can measure the amplitude, phase, time delay, frequency, Doppler shifts, and angle of arrival and wave polarization from ionospheric echoes. The data is stored originally in a quarter-inch cartridage and retrieved by the Library software and finally saved on CDR disks.
Each file in DAT ASCII format, including hourly value for 15 parameters.
During the 25th voyage of Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition in 2008/2009,we use automatic station vaisala 500 to get the weather information, including:DATE,TIM,LAT, LON,T(c)(AVE,MAX, MIN),RH(%)(AVE,MA,MIN),TD(c)(AVE,MAX,MIN),P(hpa)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SLP(hpa)(AVE, MAX,MIN),WD(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),WS(kt)(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),SR1(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SR2(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),PR(mm) 24hPR(mm).
the using of ship-based electromagnetic sensing technology to detect the thickness of sea ice , Recording the thickness of sea ice during observations of the EM31 sea ice module (ICE) records are converted by the conductivity measurement. In order to meet the observation needs, in particular, making observations about 8m stent, the stent at the same time to install meter Equipment. Observation time is at the 2007 December 9 to 11.
During the 24th voyage of Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition in 2007/2008,we use automatic station vaisala 500 to get the weather information, including:DATE,TIM,LAT, LON,T(c)(AVE,MAX, MIN),RH(%)(AVE,MA,MIN),TD(c)(AVE,MAX,MIN),P(hpa)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SLP(hpa)(AVE, MAX,MIN),WD(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),WS(kt)(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),SR1(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SR2(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),PR(mm) 24hPR(mm).
The diversity of culturable bacteria associated
with sandy intertidal sediments from the coastal regions of the Chinese Antarctic Zhongshan Station on the Larsemann Hills (Princess Elizabeth Land, East Antarctica) was investigated.A total of 65 aerobic heterotrophic bacterial strains
were isolated at 4C. Microscopy and 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that the isolates were dominated by Gram-negative bacteria, while only 16 Gram-positive strains were isolated. The bacterial isolates fell in five phylogenetic groups: Alpha- and Gammaproteobacteria,Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria and Firmicutes. Based on phylogenetic trees, all the 65 isolates were sorted into 29 main clusters, corresponding to at least 29 diVerent genera.Based on sequence analysis (<98% sequence similarity),the Antarctic isolates belonged to at least 37 diVerent bacterial
species, and 14 of the 37 bacterial species (37.8%) represented potentially novel taxa. These results indicated a high culturable diversity within the bacterial community of the Antarctic sandy intertidal sediments.

Abstract:
Geomagnetics and upper atmosphere dynamics are subjects which based on observation. The long term data acquisition has not only significant to basic research about the space physics, but also has many applications in national defense and national economy as well. Furthermore, the Antarctic geomagnetic and space environmental observation play an important role in the meridian observation chain of space physics in China.
The observation contains: geomagnetic relative variations (three components H, D and Z), absolute observation (three components D, I and F), geomagnetic pulsation, ionospheric scintillation and TEC observation etc. In addition, data processing must be carried out everyday, and daily instrument maintenance is necessary.
Main observation instruments are as follows:
1.G856 proton magnetometer
2.CTM-DI variometer
3.MD style digital data acquisition system
4.Digital geomagnetic pulsation variometer
5.VLF receiver
6.GSV4004 ionospheric scintillation and TEC monitor
During the 22nd voyage of Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition in 2005/2006,we use automatic station vaisala 500 to get the weather information, including:DATE,TIM,LAT, LON,T(c)(AVE,MAX, MIN),RH(%)(AVE,MA,MIN),TD(c)(AVE,MAX,MIN),P(hpa)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SLP(hpa)(AVE, MAX,MIN),WD(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),WS(kt)(2minAVE,MAX,MIN;10minAVE,MAX,MIN),SR1(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),SR2(w/m2)(AVE,MAX,MIN),PR(mm) 24hPR(mm).
