  • Data of Geomagnetic Observatory at Zhongshan Station in 2007

    ,

Datacenter: Polar Research Institute of China
    Collection: ADC, GCW
    Iso topic category: Geoscientific Information
    Show Abstract
Geomagnetics and upper atmosphere dynamics are subjects which based on observation. The long term data acquisition has not only significant to basic research about the space physics, but also has many applications in national defense and national economy as well. Furthermore, the Antarctic geomagnetic and space environmental observation play an important role in the meridian observation chain of space physics in China. The observation contains: geomagnetic relative variations (three components H, D and Z), absolute observation (three components D, I and F), geomagnetic pulsation, ionospheric scintillation and TEC observation etc. In addition, data processing must be carried out everyday, and daily instrument maintenance is necessary. Main observation instruments are as follows: 1.G856 proton magnetometer 2.CTM-DI variometer 3.MD style digital data acquisition system 4.Digital geomagnetic pulsation variometer 5.VLF receiver 6.GSV4004 ionospheric scintillation and TEC monitor
